Whether you’re enjoying a picnic under the shade trees, exploring playgrounds, or hiking numerous trails at Fullerton Park or Turner Falls Park, the City of Davis offers something for everyone to enjoy year-round.
Fullerton Park
Fullerton Park is a beloved community green space in Davis, Oklahoma, offering recreational amenities and year-round events for all ages.
Located at 701 E Benton Ave, Davis, OK 73030, the park features walking trails meandering through shaded and open areas, picnic spots with tables and pavilions, playground equipment for children, and seasonal splash pad facilities that provide a refreshing reprieve during hot summer months. The park is open to both residents and visitors, and facilities (such as pavilions and picnic areas) are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are planning a large-scale event at Fullerton Park, be sure to check with City Hall for any permitting requirements.
Throughout the year, Fullerton Park plays host to a number of signature community events. The local Kiwanis and Davis Volunteer Fire Department host an Annual Easter Egg Hunt each spring. Each summer the Red, White & Davis Independence Day Celebration celebrates patriotism with live music, food trucks, inflatables, a fireworks show after dark, and splashing fun at the park’s splash pad. For Halloween, the BOO Crew Community Halloween Carnival takes over the park with costumes, games, and plenty of booths. And as winter approaches, the Annual Christmas Walk-Through Light Display transforms the park into a festive evening attraction for the whole family.
Turner Falls Park
Nestled in the Arbuckle Mountains six miles south of Davis, Oklahoma, Turner Falls Park is one of the state’s premier natural attractions and is easily accessible from Interstate 35 at Exit 51, then just a short drive south on U.S. Highway 77. Named for Mazeppa Thomas Turner, a settler who discovered the waterfall in the late 1800s, the park’s lands were acquired by the City of Davis in 1919 with later land purchases expanding the property. Over time, it has become a 1,500-acre recreation area featuring a dramatic 77-foot waterfall cascading into a natural pool, natural caves, geological formations of limestone, shale, sandstone, and even a castle built in the 1930s (Collings Castle).
Outdoor opportunities at Turner Falls are abundant. Visitors can swim in the spring-fed Honey Creek or its natural pools, explore caves and rocky outcroppings, picnic in shaded areas, or hike its many trails winding through forested hills and along creek banks. Overnight accommodations include RVs, teepees, wagons, or cabins, or bring your own camping gear for primitive tent camping. The fall season in particular is a treat, with colorful foliage in the wooded slopes of the Arbuckles, cooler temperatures, and changing light making the waterfalls and overlooks especially picturesque.

Visitors can easily reach the ranch from I-35 at Exit 55, then follow Dolese Road west and south to the registration office at the entrance.

777 Zipline
777 Zip (Turner Falls Zipline) in Davis, Oklahoma, is a thrilling aerial experience that lets you soar above the stunning scenery of the Arbuckle Mountains. The ride sends you 717 feet up to a 130-foot tower perched above Collings Castle, from which point you glide 727 feet back toward the Overlook/Curio Shop, all the while enjoying sweeping views of Turner Falls, Collings Castle, and the surrounding rugged terrain.
The zipline ride takes about 77 seconds, combining excitement with immersion in nature, and it’s suitable for most ages (42 inches tall minimum) with special considerations for weight limits and accompaniment when needed. Located just off Highway 77, about six miles south of Davis, it’s very accessible (Exit 51 off I-35, go south two miles, or Exit 47 north two miles) and includes amenities like a gift shop at the landing/overlook area.
